Typically side stirring is used for retro-fitting to existing furnaces. Our PM side stirrers are super compact requiring <1m space, its light construction enables tilted and even mounted to the furnace configurations, making our PM applicable to basically any furnace.
Our side stirrers can provide cross-furnace flow enables similar performance to bottom stirrers, thus making this an attractive option for new installs with limited/expensive space below the furnace.
The core and distinguishing part of our technology is an innovative permanent magnet assembly configuration that gives highest magnetic field at larger distances, compared to any other system. So even 70cm thick bottom walls are not restricting furnace can be effectively stirred by our permanent magnet bottom stirrers, not only unlocking all the benefits of having a contactless stirring in the furnace, but doing it with 10-20 times less electricity consumption compared to corresponding coil based system. E.g. mere 8kW is ample for 20t furnace with 40cm bottom wall.

Fully scalable technology and relatively low cost of control panel, we can provide cost-effective solutions also for small furnaces and crucibles as small as 100kg.
Simple example: Typical 5t crucible looses 10C/h. That is ~22kW of heat. Gas heating will have as low as 30% efficiency mainly due to necessity to let the (hot) gas out. Add 30kW (or 10kW if used 1/3 of time) coil-stirrer energy, easy get >80kW just to heat the air in factory.
We suggest: combine our crucible stirrer (2kW) with 2x10kW el. heater - easy 3x energy savings possible!
